-Please Read the whole Description- Comments make me not die. T_T this was as much for the writing as the picture.

Morgan's emerald eyes turned to the sky, reflecting the moon and the stars, as his head rested on the sturdy trunk of the tree under which he had taken solace. The nighttime sky had always made him think of angels, and his thoughts would then always waunder to his silly companion. Oh, how Morgan wished he could feel his lover's soft and comforting touch one last time, or hear the reassuring rustle of his best friend's wings. What he would give for those little things, not to be dying here, alone, poisoned and failing fast. What he would give for these last comforts.

Deran raced through the woods, his white wings moving great pockets of air every time he beat them. His own eyes were wide, with fear, with alarm, alight with the overwhelming desire to get to Morgan. He had to find his friend before it was too late. His heart beat fast, but his wings beat faster, as he skimmed the forest floor with ease and grace that came naturally to him. He knew he was getting closer, he could feel it in his bones, in the way the trees seemed to whisper in mournful tones. When he reached the clearing Morgan was in, his keen eyes had no trouble finding the form of his friend leaning on the tree for support.

He extended his hand, his brows knitting as he tried to hold back the tears he knew would fight their way up, he seemed almost afraid to touch him, lest his friend already be dead. Morgan's cool gaze slid from the sky, to Deran already glazed with the death that would soon completely take him. He moved his head, opening his mouth as if to speak, but no words emerged from his lips as another painful spasm racked his body. Deran let out a quiet sob and fell to his knees and then forward, his wings folding close to his back as he buried his head into Morgan's shoulder and cried for the friend he knew he was losing. Tears made warm trails down his pale cool cheeks. Morgan reached up, wrapping one arm around his friends back, and lifting one to run through his hair, before slowly becoming still and letting his hands slip from their spots on the half-angel, falling limp at his sides.

It's not fair!' Deran screamed, raising his red rimmed eyes to the heavens, as if addressing the gods themselves. 'It's not fair! He didn't have to die! It's not fair!'
